COLOR CURIOUS

Not entirely sure how a pair of pockets on a skirt can turn a grown woman to mush, but somehow they did. As soon as I spotted this skirt in a store, I fell head over heel for it's shape and color but once a realized it had side pockets the battle was over. What can I say, I am a sucker for cute details:)

In other news, I just found out my brother got his very first acceptance letter from one of the universities he's applied to! Such a proud moment! He happens to be one of those amazing people who effortlessly have everything together, from the very early age he knew what he wanted to do and which university he wished to attend. I feel like this is one of those important steps to finally realizing his dreams for the future. So, I wanted to take this opportunity to let him know how proud Emil and I are of all his accomplishments and just how much we love him.

Absolutely head-over-heels for this top, such a cool combination of colors! Got it last week and been wearing it non-stop. Few days ago Emil and I had a chance to go out for drinks with our friends, whom we haven't seen in a while because of our busy schedules. We haven't had a proper night off since we got back from New York so it was nice to have some down time with our favorite people. I paired my new top with these cute Zara high waist shorts I got recently. Wearing shorts in February, you gotta love LA weather:)

Secondly, I've had pretty crazy couple of days. I've been getting ready for Fashion Week, booking my flight, desperately trying to pack 10 pairs of shoes into a carry-on and shopping like a crazy woman. It is absolutely freezing in New York this time a year so I was looking for few warmer pieces. So far, I am only half way done:) So much more to do, I have to remember to breathe. But despite all the running around, I am beginning to realize just how excited am:)
