My go to outfit for some down time in LA. This Sunday Emil and I finally carved out some time to catch up with our friends and just chill... If you live in LA or maybe plan to visit you have to go to Urth Cafe in Santa Monica, best coffee and deserts in town, I promise:) Emil and I had two cherry pies each, sadly no regrets... You have to live it up sometimes:)

The feathered earings are actuallly a little DIY project, I got a pair of really cute Koolaburra flats from StefaniBags.com this summer. Well, long story short, the flats have little feather embelishmantes on the side which are completely removable so you can use them for anything. I took them off, and voila, a cute pair of earrings!  I am thinking of using them as a necklace next.

P.S. I look a little mad in these picks, well, I am not, the sun was in my face most of the time. I will show my usual  grin next time:)

Meet Me in Malibu

Have you ever had one of those days when everything seems to be going your way. 

I woke up in the morning only to find a package arrived for me courtesy of stefanibags.com

I opened it up and found a pair of the most gorgeous sandals ever! I've been a big fan of stefanibags.com for a while, they always seem to have the most gorgeous bags and shoes. That's why I am so excited to learn they will now carry jewelry too. Right now I am completely obsessed with the zodiac pendants they have!!!

So, Emil and I decided to take my new sandals for a walk to our favorite place, yes, you guessed it, Malibu! 

We had the most fantasticday full of shopping, dining and hanging out at the beach. 

We finished our day by basking in the warmth of the Summer sun, drinking tea, munching on some delicious macaroons and talking about our upcoming vacation plans.

And in that particular moment I thought that sometimes life is simply beautiful...

So, I wish you all more days when life just seems amazing!
