NEW YORK FASHION WEEK | TALES FROM THE TENTS

Typical fashion week schedule is not for the lighthearted, events start early in the morning and continue well into the night. Yet, I’ve never experienced such blissful exhaustion as I did during fashion week. Tingling with anticipation of the next morning, I passed out across my bed in full make up, counting the moments until I can get up and do it all over again. So, I wanted to share a few pics from Lincoln Center, hope you like them!

Love,
Annabelle

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK FALL 2012 | SOCIALYTE.CO BLOGGER LOUNGE

(Helmut Lang lush voile overlap Shirt, Habitual wide leg pants, Chloe Paraty Medium Tote, Poshlocket bracelets)

First, I would like to congratulate Stephanie from http://fashionroll23.blogspot.com/ with winning Jennifer Haley Handbag GIVEAWAY! Hope you enjoy the bag!

One of my favorite events during Fashion Week was the Bloggers Lounge hosted by Socialyte.co at the Caravan Stylist Studios. A super cool Manhattan loft served as a perfect setting for a daytime event for fashion bloggers and industry insiders. Those of us heading to the Bloglovin Awards, were treated to make-up by Ulta Beauty and DDF Skincare and hair styling courtesy of Arrojo. I opted for electric blue cat eyes, clean face with a touch of bronzer and pale lip, probably one of my favorite make up looks ever.
Special thank you to Rebecca Minkoff, Poshlocket and BaubleBar jewelry, gorgeous Rae Collection silk separates and Chinese Laundry shoes for gifting us with some amazing goodies. Cocktails and shopping, sometimes life just doesn't get better!

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

(Helmut Lang lush voile overlap Shirt, Habitual wide leg pants, Giusppe Zanotti double platform Pump cute ones here & here, Essie nail polish in Master Plan, Isle of Skye T-Neck Puncho - StefaniBags.com)

Special thank you to the Yotel New York for making our stay in New York especially pleasurable. Emil and I couldn't get enough of the gorgeous city views, polished modern decor and fantastic service. Coming back every day completely exhausted after bouncing from one event to another we couldn't be happier our hotel was so close to everything. Literally less than 10 minutes from Lincoln Center, Times Square and Central Park.

Oh, and since Emil and I are such foodies, we recommend trying strawberry lychee mojitos and black cod at the Dohyo restaurant located on the 4th floor of the hotel. Usually not a huge fan of fruity, sweet drinks, I found this particular one very refreshing. Perfect combination of lime and mint with a hint of lychee, which balanced perfectly the richness of the fish.
