THE BIG BANG THEORY

(Jordana House of Harlow Sunglasses - StefaniBags.com, Pumps & Top - Zara, Rebecca Minkoff Circle Swing Bag - StefaniBags.com, See by Chloe BEE FREE Skirt - Net-A-Porter.com, YSL Arti Ring)

Last week in a moment of sheer restlessness and inspired by eye-brow crazing bangs seen on every runway I decided that my life was incomplete without bangs of my own. Now, I've had bangs once before and it was not the proudest moment in my life. A swift motion of my friend's untrained hand left me looking like a cross between an alter boy and a 17th century monk. All the product and styling in the world couldn't change the fact that they come exactly to the middle of my forehead!

This time, determined to avoid the same mistake, and armed with a thick stack of fashion magazines, I vigorously related the minimum required length to my stylist. Emil was completely against the entire idea but I am not easy to reason with once I make a decision:) Well, my bangs are definitely not too short this time:)  But long enough to cover my eyes completely, so I got an appointment to get them fixed next week.  Darn it, I just hate it when Emil is right, I can almost see the satisfied grin on his face when he reads this....

And you know what I've learned from this experience? Exactly nothing, because I am already thinking about the next crazy thing I am going to do to my hair! Change color, or maybe lighten my crown or bleach the ends, because life is simply too short without bad hair stories:)

Have a wonderful weekend,
Love,
Annabelle

SAN DIEGO DIARY | RED DAY

(Coat - JCrew, Pants - BCBG, Top - Zara, Affair Small Quilt & Stud Bag - Rebecca Minkoff, Jewelry - JCrew, ShopBelina.com)

Have you ever noticed how certain colors have this unique ability to transform your mood. Whenever I wear bright red, I feel especially cheery and giddy, like I am part of wonderful celebration.

Well, last Sunday I had an occasion to celebrate indeed. Emil and I went to San Diego to visit my Sister in Law, who is currently attending a Law School there. Even though San Diego is only a short trip away from LA, I feel like we don't make it as often as we'd like. We both miss her dearly and get very excited whenever we get to see her.

We spend a wonderful day together, walking, shopping, stuffing our faces and simply catching up. If you are ever in San Diego you should definitely visit Extraordinary Deserts, one of the best cafes in town, at least in my opinion. As you may have guessed from the name of the place, best deserts ever:)

Hope you week is going well,
Love,
Annabelle

ROBERTSON RED

(Jeans - FREE People, Sweater - Zara, Boots - Asos, Bag - Cheetah Covet by Rebecca Minkoff, Necklace - Givenchy)

As of lately I've been pretty preoccupied with Robertson Boulevard, sure the shopping and dining is great but it's also one of the best places to simply go walking. So, today, after some pretty vocal protesting from Emil, I convinced him yet again, specifically third time this week, to go to Robertson. Not that Emil dislikes Robertson, but in our little family walking and shopping go hand in hand. So I can't really blame the poor guy for not wanting to see the same pair of shoes for the hundred's time or discuss the importance of snake print for this winter. But you know, I am not a monster (most of the time), we did go for a lovely lunch to his favorite cafe. Emil has the biggest sweet tooth in the world, so it's pretty easy to make him happy:)

Hope you have a wonderful weekend,
Remember to indulge that sweet tooth once in a while, makes the world a better place:)
Love,
Annabelle
