SAN DIEGO DIARY | RED DAY

Have you ever noticed how certain colors have this unique ability to transform your mood. Whenever I wear bright red, I feel especially cheery and giddy, like I am part of wonderful celebration. 

Well, last Sunday I had an occasion to celebrate indeed. Emil and I went to San Diego to visit my Sister in Law, who is currently attending a Law School there. Even though San Diego is only a short trip away from LA, I feel like we don't make it as often as we'd like. We both miss her dearly and get very excited whenever we get to see her. 

We spend a wonderful day together, walking, shopping, stuffing our faces and simply catching up. If you are ever in San Diego you should definitely visit Extraordinary Deserts, one of the best cafes in town, at least in my opinion. As you may have guessed from the name of the place, best deserts ever:)

PERFECT DAY | CREATE YOUR OWN WIND

Emil and I took these last week, it was one of those perfect days, the sun was shining, the wind was blowing lightly and it seemed like the whole world was smiling around us:) 

I bought this bag that morning, saw it in the store and simply couldn't resist. Studs make me weak....

And of course a new bag always makes my day. 

I am very happy to let you know that a new GIVEAWAY I've been hinting at, is well on it's way and is scheduled for late November. I don't want to say too much but I promise you will love this one! I will let you know more in the following posts:)

FAIRISLE SAGA

I am smack in the middle of a huge Free People crush. I don't know if you guys noticed but it's the same jeans I wore in red a few posts ago (CLICK HERE to see the post). And this sweater, I've been waiting for it for over a month, I just love the black and white combo. 

First time I wore it, Emil took me to this new burger place he's been dying to try. I usually stay away from burgers but you know, relationships are all about compromise. He gets to eat enough healthy food, so once in a while, ok, once in a blue moon, we go out to eat junk food. The burgers were great but the portions were absolutely huge. Yes, I picked an absolutely fantastic day to wear a cropped sweater:) Forget about trying to hold my stomach in, I could barely breathe. An, yes, of course Emil made fun of me, he kept rubbing my stomach and asking when the baby is due:) Took me about half an hour to be able to lough about it:)
