LAVENDER LOVE

If you visit my blog on regular basis, you know I drool over anything lavender. Something about the color reminds me of Summer, sunshine and freedom. Since my ever-expanding jean-pant collection did not yet include a pair in my favorite color, I was pretty psyched to come across these babies. This particular shade makes me especially weak in the knees:) 

Emil and I shot these pics last Sunday. We had one of those impossibly relaxing, gloriously lazy days, driving down Topanga canyon, car windows rolled all the way down, wind in our hair, sipping on iced lemonade, listening to Led Zeppelin. I think Summer is here:)

GREEN DAY

Wearing an outfit comprised entirely of current favorites. You've seen most of these items on my blog before, some more than others:) What can I say, I love this clutch because it really does work with everything! But these pants are brand spanking new. Once in a while I get tired of wearing jeans,  so I always keep my eyes open for a pair of cool slacks. I got these from Asos a few days ago because, well, the fit is pretty amazing and of course I just love bright green. I have a distinct feeling you will be seeing them on my blog quite a bit, so feel free to let me know if I am overdoing it a bit:)

SHORT N' SWEET

Taking a bit of a break from pastels and brights, I am back to my favorite black and white color combination.  I really love simple black and white pieces with a bit of a wist, such as perforated back or scalloped hem. Wearing what is probably the shortest skirt I currently own, Emil and I headed for drinks with our friends right after snapping these, so I figured it was appropriate... Or not, you tell me:)
