Stairway to Heaven

I would like to introduce to you my new obsession. These Topshop wedges arrived last week and I've been wearing them every days since. I love wedges, they are, I think a more comfortable alternative to a heel. But when you combine comfort and color like this, I think it's just magic. I even got a visible grin of approval from Emil, and he cares very little about shoes:) Well, maybe he does, but mostly when I buy yet another pair and he starts complaining about the lack of room in our closet... Who cares about clutter when there are so my gorgeous shoes out there?

Ah, but I have very exciting news! I think I mentioned before that my family lives in Canada and I only get to see them once a year. Well, they are here!!!! Their plane was late by 5 hours and for what seemed like an eternity I thought the flight might be cancelled altogether. But alas, they made it.  I cried like a little girl when I saw them, but then I always do:) I will take a lot of pictures so that you can meet everyone!

Purple Haze

I wanted to share some of the pictures Emil and I took last Thursday. I've been wearing a lot of flats lately and if you follow my blog you know just how unusual that is! But I have a new found respect for a comfortable shoe and my poor feet are very happy! They are finally getting some rest after all the abuse I've been putting them through:)

At this moment these are my favorite, I am absolutely in love with the combination of colors and of course the bunny ears are simply adorable! What do you guys think? Cute, right? They also come in pink, and I don't think I can resist buying them in another color. When I put them on I just cannot help it but smile...

What do you think about my new favorite spider bracelet? Isn't it absolutely stunning! I can believe it was only $24.00! What a bargain for such an amazing piece!

Summer Sunsets

Nasty Gal I love you! One of my favorite stores to shop for cool tops, shorts and shoes! My latest find is this sweater! Isn't it absolutely gorgeous.  Another recent purchase is the shorts I got from ShopBop.com. I love Hudson Denim and these shorts are no exception .

P.S. You will probably notice a flash of blue denim in one of the pictures at the end. I must confess I get cold easily so I borrowed a pair of jeans from Emil. He thought I looked absolutely hilarious and kept snapping photos of me. In his defense, I did look ridiculous, you see,  he is probably 4 sizes bigger than I am. As we were taking pictures they kept sliding off, so I tried to hold back a smile, take a picture and to stop the jeans from falling off. In case you are wondering, the jeans won! He literally begged me to post a few of them here. But upon further consideration I don't think my blog would have survived such humiliation. Let's put it this way, cars were honking as they were passing by! And not the good kind of honking either:)
